The Rev. Sandra Steiner Ball is a new bishop-elect in The United Methodist Church. She was elected on July 18 on the fifth ballot by the Northeastern Jurisdiction. She received 132 of a possible 219 votes. Ball is the director of connectional ministries for the Peninsula-Delaware Annual Conference.
“The church will be blessed with the leadership of this gifted spirit-filled and energetic servant of God,” said Bishop Peggy Johnson of the Philadelphia Area.
